Anne-Mari Pahkala’s made-to-measure work grows from a long relationship with material, craft and the meaning clothing can hold.
Her design language is rooted in the idea that clothing is more than function. It can become part of memory, presence and time.
Anne-Mari approaches each unique design through sculptural shaping, the body, the behaviour of material and the atmosphere of the occasion. Every design is developed through drawing, draping, fitting and close collaboration with selected, long-standing artisan partners.
The result is a design shaped for the occasion, yet intended to remain meaningful long beyond it.

You do not need to have a finished idea before getting in touch. We begin by looking at the occasion, your wishes, the timeline and the atmosphere the design should carry.

2. Design Direction
Anne-Mari develops the direction through silhouette, proportion, material ideas and sculptural form.
3. Fittings & Making
The design is shaped through measurements, fittings and close collaboration with selected, long-standing artisan partners.
4. Final Design
The final design is completed for your occasion — personal, considered and made to feel entirely your own.
